Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Welcome to Rollie.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Keel Software, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Keel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which makes Rollie. They govern your access to and use of heyrollie.com, the Rollie application, and any related software, tools, features, content, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and “you” refers to that organization.
1. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- Are not located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive economic sanctions, and are not listed on any applicable sanctions or restricted-party list
You may not use the Service if doing so would violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
2. Nature of the Service
Rollie is software that turns the views you set on markets (a number from −10 to +10 for each market you choose) and the risk level you choose into a sized portfolio. Once you take a book live, Rollie places, adjusts, and closes the orders for that portfolio on your own Hyperliquid account, through an agent wallet you approve, and rebalances it by fixed rules.
Before Rollie launches, the Service tracks books on paper: it places no orders and holds no money, and any result shown for a book is calculated from market prices, not traded.
Rollie applies the same published sizing and rebalancing rules to every book. Rollie does not:
- Provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice
- Manage funds
- Take custody of user assets
- Choose markets, directions, or views for you
- Guarantee profitability, execution quality, or trading outcomes
You choose the markets, your views, your risk level, and whether and when to take a book live, and you can change, pause, or stop it at any time.
3. No Financial Advice; No Recommendation
All information, examples, tracked results, measured figures, reports, and other materials available through the Service are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing in the Service constitutes:
- Financial advice
- Investment advice
- A recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any asset
- Brokerage or discretionary portfolio management services
You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any book, view, risk level, or action is appropriate for your objectives, financial condition, and risk tolerance.
Trading involves substantial risk. Perpetual futures are leveraged, and you can lose money, including more than the amount you give Rollie, because positions share your account’s margin. Past performance, tracked results, examples, and measured figures are not guarantees of future results.
4. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- All trading decisions and outcomes
- Choosing markets, setting views and a risk level, and deciding whether and when to take a book live
- Monitoring your book and positions
- Pausing, stopping, or changing your book when appropriate
- Any orders, fills, executions, cancellations, liquidations, funding payments, gains, or losses associated with your use of the Service
- Any accounts, wallets, agent wallet approvals, or other credentials you connect to the Service
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Sizing and rebalancing rules may produce positions you did not expect
- Tracked results are limited and may not reflect real-world conditions
- Real-world execution may differ materially from tracked results or expected outcomes
- Trading losses can occur rapidly, including from volatility, slippage, funding, latency, outages, liquidations, market structure, or user error
5. Accounts, Credentials, and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and of any wallets, exchange accounts, agent wallet approvals, signing permissions, or similar credentials used with the Service.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or through your connected accounts, wallets, or credentials.
You must promptly notify us at support@usekeel.io if you believe your account or credentials have been compromised.
6. Execution Timing, Price, and Market Risk
Execution of trades may be delayed, fail, or be affected by market conditions, exchange behavior, order book conditions, network congestion, chain issues, agent wallet or permission issues, system performance, connectivity issues, or failures of third-party infrastructure.
Prices at execution may differ from expected, displayed, or tracked prices. Orders may fill partially, fully, at a worse or better price than expected, or not at all.
We do not guarantee:
- Order placement timing
- Order transmission
- Order acceptance
- Order fulfillment
- Price accuracy
- Slippage limits
- Availability of any venue, market, or feature
- That live results will match tracked results or examples
7. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third-party services, which may include Hyperliquid and other exchanges, wallets, market data providers, cloud infrastructure providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, and communication tools.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those third parties’ terms, policies, and technical limitations.
We are not responsible for any act, omission, outage, error, breach, delay, policy change, insolvency, failure, or unavailability of any third-party service.
8. Non-Custodial Service
Rollie is non-custodial.
We do not:
- Hold or custody your funds
- Hold or custody your private keys
- Control your wallet
- Take possession of your assets
Rollie trades through an agent wallet (which Hyperliquid also calls an API wallet) that you approve. It can place and cancel orders on your account, but withdrawals and transfers to another address need your own wallet’s signature. An approval lasts up to 180 days, and you can revoke it on Hyperliquid at any time.
You remain responsible for your wallets, exchange accounts, agent wallet approvals, and assets at all times.
9. The Waitlist, Early Access, and Public Books
Building and saving a book puts you on the waitlist. Friends who join through your link may move you up the list. A place on the list, early access, and invites have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and do not guarantee access to any feature by any date. We may change how the waitlist works, or who receives access, at any time.
When you save a book, its views, headline, and changes are public on your share links and your profile, under your @handle. Every change is timestamped by Rollie and cannot be edited or deleted while the book is public.
10. Experimental and Beta Features
Some features of the Service may be new, experimental, beta, or otherwise subject to change. The Service may contain bugs, errors, security vulnerabilities, performance issues, or unexpected behavior.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that some features may not function as intended and that you use the Service at your own risk.
We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time, with or without notice.
11. Fees
Building and saving a book is free, and Rollie has no subscriptions.
When live trading opens, Rollie charges a fee on the volume it trades for you, stated before you take a book live. At the time of these Terms, that fee is $6 for every $10,000 traded. We may change fees at any time; changes apply prospectively.
You are also responsible for any funding payments, gas fees, slippage costs, or other market-related costs associated with your trading activity.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization
- Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or misuse the Service except as permitted by law
- Create multiple accounts or fake referrals to move up the waitlist
- Use the Service to harm others, commit fraud, manipulate markets, or evade compliance requirements
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority
We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend or terminate access at any time.
13. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, characters, text, graphics, interfaces, and related materials, is owned by Keel Software, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, such as your views, headlines, and reasons. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, display publicly on your share links and profile, and use that content as necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and secure the Service.
14. Service Availability; No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Any defect will be corrected
- Any result, metric, figure, or sizing is accurate or suitable for your use
- Any execution or market interaction will occur as intended
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or trading losses, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keel shall not be liable for any loss arising out of or related to:
- Trading decisions or trading outcomes
- Your views, risk level, or book configuration
- Exchange failures or market events
- Latency, slippage, liquidation, price movement, or missed orders
- Third-party services
- Bugs, outages, or security incidents
- Unauthorized access to your account, wallet, or credentials
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of:
- The amount you paid to us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or
- One hundred U.S. dollars (US $100)
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
16. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Keel from and against any claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your book, trading activity, or market activity
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right
- Any dispute between you and any third party, including an exchange or wallet provider
17. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe:
- You violated these Terms
- Your use creates risk for us, other users, or third parties
- A third-party provider requires us to do so
- We are required to do so by law
- We choose to discontinue the Service
You may stop using the Service at any time, and you can delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections relating to liability, disclaimers, indemnification, intellectual property, amounts owed, and interpretation of these Terms.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will become effective when posted, unless otherwise stated, and we will update the “Last updated” date above.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
You and Keel agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts and waive any objection that they are an inconvenient forum.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you and Keel each waive any right to a trial by jury in any action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arose, or it is permanently barred, except where applicable law requires a longer period.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
20. Notices and Electronic Communications
We may provide notices to you by email to the address associated with your account, by posting within the Service, or by posting on heyrollie.com. Notices are effective when sent or posted.
You consent to receive communications from us electronically, and you agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.
Legal notices to Keel must be sent to support@usekeel.io with “Legal Notice” in the subject line, and are effective when received.
21. General Provisions
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any feature terms presented to you before you take a book live, are the entire agreement between you and Keel regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings on that subject.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent, and any attempted assignment is void. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by conditions beyond our reasonable control, including exchange, venue, or blockchain outages, network or cloud provider failures, cyberattacks, acts of God, war, civil unrest, labor conditions, or government action.
Relationship of the parties. These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or fiduciary relationship between you and Keel. We owe you no fiduciary duty in connection with the Service.
No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create rights for anyone other than you and Keel.
Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
